I've not had any time to work on the site recently so I thought I'de just chuck a phpBB forum together to get the ball rolling.

This will eventually be replaced with a much more professional site allowing people to communicate, share pictures and videos and plan events much more easily. There will also be a really awesome My Car feature for you to show of your project. It's going to be very dynamic and interactive, just think like facebook, but for ZR turbos

Along with this I will be of course putting lots of content on the site, mainly the full turbo conversion guide.

So why another car forum???

Well I realised it's all well and good having a ZR turbo, but wouldn't it be much more fun if we all got together?

If there is enough of us, I'm sure we can start organising some fun events. Like track day meets, dyno days and full on drag racing competitions at York and Santapod.

OK, competative rally and circuit driving are quite involved and difficult to get into, but we can definitely start a ZR turbo 1/4 mile League. The focus would be on low budget racing to make it much more accessible to everyday people. I 'm thinking along the lines of a class for cars running standard head/internals, then one for people with bigger budgets. Just a thought anyways.
